Cebu Pacific Air is a low-cost carrier in the Philippines and was founded in 1988. It is a subsidiary of JG Summit Holdings. The airline commenced operations in 1996 and its first flight was from Manila to Cebu. 

The airline is based in Pasay, Metro Manila and is Asia’s first low-cost carrier. The airline’s largest operational base is in Manila and other bases are at Clark, Cebu, Davao and Iloilo. The airline flies to 37 domestic and 27 international destinations in 15 countries across Asia and Oceania.

Cebu Pacific Airlines Class of Travel

The airline offers only one travel class on all its flights along with different options. The level of service offered varies based on the option chosen. The different options are as follows:

Economy Class Fly Only

This option offers comfortable seats with ample legroom.

• Passengers need not pay the checked-in baggage fee if there is no checked-in baggage.

• Passengers can purchase excess baggage as required.

Economy Class Fly+Bag

This option offers comfortable seats with ample legroom.

• Passengers can carry one piece of checked-in baggage weighing up to 20 kg.

Economy Class Fly+Bag+Meal

This option offers comfortable seats with ample legroom.

• Passengers can carry one piece of checked-in baggage weighing up to 20 kg.

• Passengers can pre-book meals up to 24 hours before scheduled flight departure. A minimum of 2 meals per flight per person is allowed.

• Passengers can also purchase snacks and beverages from the onboard Fun Cafe.

Cebu Pacific Airlines Baggage Allowance

Cebu Pacific Air allows passengers with the Fly+Bag and Fly+Bag+Meal options to carry checked-in baggage of 20 kg on all flights. The checked-in baggage can be upgraded by 4, 8 or 12 kg which makes the maximum weight per piece 32 kg.

Passengers can buy up to 3 pieces of checked-in baggage weighing 20 kg each. Any excess in piece, weight and size are chargeable. The airline allows all the passengers to carry a handbag of 7 kg. 

Passengers can carry 2 pieces of handbag with a combined weight of 7 kg or less. The dimensions of the handbag must not exceed 56 cm x  36 cm x 23 cm. The handbag can be stowed in the overhead bin.

Cebu Pacific Airlines Web Check-in and Boarding Pass

To avoid long queues at the airport and save time, passengers can check in online. Passengers can check-in online using the airline’s website or the mobile app. 

To check in online through the airline’s website passengers can go to the ‘Check-in’ tab. Enter the details required to check in online. On successful check-in boarding passes can be downloaded and printed. 

Passengers can book preferred seats for a small fee. To check-in through the airline’s app download the app on the device. Go to the ‘Check-in’ tab and enter the required details. The boarding pass can be saved on the device. Passengers should arrive at the boarding gate 45 minutes before flight departure.

Check-in Cebu Pacific Airlines Domestic Flights

Online check-in is available from 2 days to 1 hour before the scheduled Cebu Pacific flight departure. Mobile boarding passes are accepted at all Philippines domestic airports and passengers can use mobile boarding passes.

Passengers can easily check in using the mobile app. The checked-in baggage can be dropped off at the airline’s Bag Drop counter at the airport. 

Check-in Cebu Pacific Airlines International Flights

Online check-in is available from 2 days to 2 hours before the scheduled Cebu Pacific flight departure. As mobile passes are not accepted at all international airports passengers can check-in online through the airline’s website.

The boarding passes can be easily downloaded and printed. The checked-in baggage can be dropped off at the airline’s Bag Drop counter.

Cebu Pacific Airlines In-flight Services

The airline does not offer an in-flight entertainment system but offers onboard wireless access on the Airbus A330 aircraft. Passengers with the Fly+Bag+Meal option can pre-book meals up to 24 hours before the scheduled flight departure.

Passengers can also purchase light snacks and beverages from the onboard Fun Cafe. Passengers can book window seats, aisle seats or seats with extra legroom for a small fee.

In-Flight Entertainment

The airline has decided to introduce in-flight entertainment options on long-haul aircraft Airbus A330. All the aircraft are fitted with wireless connectivity and the content can be directly displayed on the personal devices of passengers.

Passengers will be able to enjoy movies and TV shows offered by the in-flight entertainment system OnAir.

In-Flight WiFi
